The two-year-long Russian-Ukrainian conflict has redefined the industrial market in Europe, especially in the context of the still unresolved shortages in the supply of raw materials caused by the COVID pandemic. In this light, our few-day trip to the Mining Week 2023 fair in Kazakhstan was exceptionally optimistic.

The Republic of Kazakhstan - one of the most resource-rich countries in the world. It has, among others the twelfth largest oil deposits in the world (30 billion barrels) and is at the forefront in the extraction of uranium, manganese, silver, zinc, coal, gold and copper. (out of 118 elements, 99 occur in Kazakhstan).

We are pleased to announce that the INTERkrąż company can boast of not only innovative solutions for belt conveyors, but also a green energy profile. Thanks to the sustainable development policy, we were able to launch photovoltaic panels so that a part of the energy needed to maintain production could be generated by the company's installation.

Fair autumn 2022 does not slow down even for a moment. The last week of October was absorbed by the Bauma trade fair in Munich, which this year was attended by approximately 3,200 exhibitors from 60 countries and over 495,000 visitors from over 200 countries. Bauma proved once again that not all trade contacts can be digitized and even a crisis as severe as the pandemic cannot destroy the international dialogue on industrial innovation.

This year's edition of the SIM 2022 mining industry fair in Marseille is behind us. Emotions fell away, great impressions remained and ... a lot of work. And the most important impressions are above all the momentum of this year's edition of SIM, emphasizing the mobilization of the French mining sector in the face of the raw materials crisis in Europe.

When we think about eco production, the first thoughts usually relate to food from sustainable crops / farming, the development of green energy sources or the production of biodegradable packaging. We rarely think about machines, feeders or…. conveyor belts ... and after all, eco production needs an efficient system for the distribution of materials and parts, just like any plant.

The international trade fair for construction and mining machinery and equipment Bauma in Munich is one of the most anticipated industry events in the mining sector this season. So far, the fair has been held in spring, but due to the risk of COVID, the fair has been moved from April to October.

The calendar of events in the mining industry includes several cyclical events that are a kind of compass of new trends in the Polish industry. One of such initiatives is the International Trade Fair EXPO KATOWICE, with the leading European presentation of machinery and technology techniques used in the mining industry.
